Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how General Magick Industries Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “Magick Learn”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Magick Learn mobile application (the “App”). By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information — when you sign up (with email, or with Google, Apple, or Facebook), our authentication provider Clerk processes your email address, name/display name, the social-login identifier, and (if provided) your profile photo.
Learning profile & activity — your chosen native and learning language, proficiency (CEFR) level, the stories and lessons you read, choices and comprehension answers, vocabulary you collect, streaks, daily “energy”/unlock activity, achievements, and your subscription tier.
Technical information — a push-notification token (if you enable notifications), your device platform, your time zone, and your IP address (used transiently to prevent abuse). Your authentication token is stored securely on your device.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal data.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To provide the App: save your progress, personalize content to your language and level, and run features like streaks, reviews, and achievements.
- To send push notifications you’ve enabled (e.g. streak reminders).
- To process subscriptions (if you purchase one).
- To protect the service against abuse (rate limiting) and to debug and improve the App.
3. Service providers
We share data only with the processors needed to run the App. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

4. Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and learning data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below (and, where available, via the in-app account-deletion option). We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication tokens are stored in your device’s secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Children’s privacy
Magick Learn is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. International transfers
Our providers operate globally and your information may be processed in countries other than your own (including the United States and the Asia-Pacific region). We rely on these providers’ safeguards for such transfers.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the App.
